Throughout our Flags for Heroes campaign, we've had the privilege of learning about the incredible veterans who have served our country with courage and dedication. These stories, filled with sacrifice and resilience, serve as a powerful reminder of the true meaning of patriotism.
We’re honored to share the story of Cody Coopenberg, an OIF veteran whose bravery and resilience in the face of immense hardship continue to inspire.
Story submitted by Patrick Blakely: "Cody is an Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) veteran. We met through Operation Injured Soldiers. He has 2nd/3rd degree burns from the waist up. Not only does he help veterans with Operation Injured Soldiers, but he is also a lead trainer at a Horses for Healing Organization. He is also a great father to his children and remains involved in their sports and Cub Scouts. I know several veterans and Cody immediately came to mind for this. Thank you for doing this recognition of veterans."
Thank you, Cody, for your honorable service, sacrifice, and dedication.
