Throughout our Flags for Heroes campaign, we've had the privilege of learning about the incredible veterans who have served our country with courage and dedication. These stories, filled with sacrifice and resilience, serve as a powerful reminder of the true meaning of patriotism.

We’re honored to share the story of Andre Bribiesca, a dedicated Marine who has not only served his country with courage but continues to embody the Marine Corps’ values of loyalty and service in his everyday life.

Story submitted by Andriana Bribiesca: "Andre served as a corporal in the USMC under 0311 Infantry. His love for our country, the military, and the comradery shows when he smiles & speaks of his time serving. After several deployments, he decided it was time to leave the military to help his wife take care of his 3 daughters. Once out of the Marines, he still wanted to honor the oath he pledged while being a father & a husband. He founded a nonprofit during Operation Enduring Freedom & Iraqi Freedom. Over 1,000 Christmas packages were shipped to our men & women deployed. He was awarded the Outstanding Adult-Team Award from the community for the work he & his wife did for veteran outreach during this time. He then decided to start running marathons and raise money for charities. He’s represented Wear Blue to run and remember Marines who gave the ultimate sacrifice. He just recently flew to Houston to volunteer with Tunnels to Towers and Operation BBQ Relief. He is also currently raising money to support Team Red White and Blue as he represents them during this year’s NYC Marathon. Andre has dedicated his life to supporting the community and our military. His life represents “never leave a man behind” thus his mission is to continue to serve those who served."

Thank you, Andre, for your honorable service, sacrifice, and dedication.
