Throughout our Flags for Heroes campaign, we've had the privilege of learning about the incredible veterans who have served our country with courage and dedication. These stories, filled with sacrifice and resilience, serve as a powerful reminder of the true meaning of patriotism.

We are honored to share the extraordinary story of Bill Duncanson, a man whose courage and dedication spanned three major conflicts—World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

Story submitted by Patricia S Donegan “Bill served in WWII, Korea AND Vietnam. I met him on an Honor Flight in 2013 and we have stayed in touch ever since. The stories he tells of his experiences in war are truly amazing and he recounts them with humility. He and his wife Barb are two very incredible people. Bill is in his 90s, has health issues but you'd never know it. He is kind, always smiling and would give a stranger the shirt off of his back. I admire them both very much. They love their family, friends, God and their country."

Thank you, Bill Duncanson, for your honorable service, sacrifice, and dedication.
